Lancaster County The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors is holding a work session on the proposed FY 2019 Lancaster County Operating Budget Thursday, May 3 at 5:30 pm at the Lancaster County Administration Building (8311 Mary Ball Rd, Lancaster, in the Board Meeting Room). Department heads and organizations requesting funding are not required to attend this budget work session. The session is open to the public. There's a Seniors & Law Enforcement Working Together (SALT) meeting Wednesday, May 16 at 10:00 am at Visiting Angels (68 South Main St, Kilmarnock in the Training Center). The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors is holding a regular meeting Thursday, April 26 at 7:00 pm at the Lancaster County Administration Building (8311 Mary Ball Rd, Lancaster, in the Board Meeting Room). The agenda includes public comments, a presentation by VDOT, public hearings on two zoning amendments, and regular work of the supes. The supervisors will also consider local options to address the opioid crisis. Lancaster Community Library has announced their internet will be down Wednesday, April 25 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm for an upgrade. This will "impact public computers, Wifi, and our ability to check books in and out--but should be brief." Volunteers are needed for the Wednesday, April 11 Belle Isle State Park Garden Clean Up . The Town of Irvington Planning Commission is holding a workshop to "review and discuss the planned residential district draft ordinance. The public may attend but may not participate in discussions." The workshop takes place Monday, April 9 at 5:30 pm at the Town Office (235 Steamboat Rd, Irvington). The Town of Irvington Planning Commission has published the Proposed R-3 Zoning Classification (PDF).
