The Northern Neck Local Emergency Planning Committee ― members are Essex, Lancaster, Richmond, Northumberland, and Westmoreland counties ― is meeting Tuesday, October 13, 9:00 – 11:00 am in Warsaw (Rappahannock Community College, 52 Campus Dr).
According to the FB post,
The meeting will support emergency planning and coordination among local governments, industrial facilities, public-private partners, and emergency management under SARA Title III and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).
The public is invited to attend. The purpose of the meeting is for the counties to work on coordinating services. There will not necessarily be a time for public input (no agenda was available as of October 1).
