The virtual Climate in the Pulpits, on the Bimah, and in the Minbar takes places Thursday, September 10, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm and all faith leaders, ordained and lay, are encouraged to participate.
The event kicks off Virginia Interfaith Power & Light’s annual interfaith call to climate action.
The event will feature discussions about ways communities of faith and goodwill can do the work of environmental justice from a moral and theological perspective that centers people and planet.
The event is free. Donations are being accepted to support their work.
