2027 4-H Junior Camp
NNK parents, save the date for 2027 4-H Junior Camp in Jamestown. Lancaster County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension recently announced the dates for the camp for kids 9 to 13. The camp is for children living in Lancaster, Northumberland, Westmoreland, Richmond, King William, and King and Queen counties.
According to the Jamestown 4-H Educational Center, “4-H Junior camp allows campers to gain independence, confidence and ‘learn by doing’ experiences through hands-on experiential programs. Program activities include” water activities, creative arts, and sports.

Healthy Food Farmacy
Healthy Harvest Food Bank and the Northern Neck VCE offices are offering the free Healthy Food Farmacy series featuring free food, how-tos, recipes, healthy eating tips, and more.
The free program runs for six weeks starting Thursday, October 8. It is specifically designed for those managing diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, or another health condition.
