Colonial Beach candidate forum
The Colonial Beach Candidates for Town Council Forum (FB) takes place Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 pm at Colonial Beach Elementary School (100 First St). The organizers hope to have the event streamed through local community radio station WWER 88.1.
Each candidate will offer opening remarks, answer questions submitted by the public, and present concluding statements.
The event is co-hosted and moderated by the Colonial Beach Community Foundation and the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce. Direct questions to the CF via email.

Statewide
Virginia Beehive Distribution Program
This state program is accepting applications through September 9. Recipients will be chosen at random from all eligible applications submitted during the application period.
This program provides free beehive assembly equipment to Virginia residents in order to help increase the number of actively-managed honey bee colonies throughout the state.
Older Virginian Survey
The Older Virginian Survey asks those 60 and older about their participation in congregate meals, thoughts on ways to improve them, as well as basic demographics. The survey takes no more than 20 minutes to complete.

All responses are anonymous and results will be reported in the aggregate.
