Postcards For Virginia, www.postcards4va.com is encouraging creative types to design postcards for four new postcard campaigns for the 2026 midterms.
The winning four postcard designs featuring original artwork will be sold through the organization’s Proshop. Postcards For Virginia cannot pay for designs. Rather, sales will “go directly toward protecting democracy.”
Designs must be in one of the four themes:
- Amendments: Highlight three constitutional amendments protecting voting rights, marriage equality, and women’s health. Sample messaging: Don’t Guess. Vote YES Three Times. Three amendments worth fighting for: Reproductive freedom, Restoration of Rights, Marriage equality.
- Local Candidates: Help voters connect with the local races that matter most in their communities. Sample messaging: Meet the candidates who have the greatest impact on your community. Know who’s running. Stop MAGA Republicans from selling out your neighborhood.
- Name & Shame: Channel the frustration and turn it into action. Sample messaging: Pissed? Me too. Had enough? Me too. Nobody voted for this. Our pain. Their gain. Stop MAGA Republicans. They’re all in on it. Here are the issues to highlight: Data Centers, Layoffs, ICE, Rural Hospital Closures, Gas and Grocery Prices, Underfunding and attacks on schools. For-profit detention centers.
- Vote Early: Remind voters to vote early and not wait until Election Day. Sample messaging: Don’t wait. Vote Early.

The design specs:
- All cards are 4” x 6”.
- Half-side design: Horizontal orientation. Your design fills one half; the other half is left clear for the mailing address. Think bold, punchy, and condensed.
- Full-side design: Can be horizontal or vertical. Your call.
- How many can you submit? We hope to offer multiple design options for each theme. Don’t hold back. Submit as many as you’d like.
