Friends of the Rappahannock needs volunteers to remove trash from a large donation of oyster shells. The shells are destined for FOR’s oyster reef restoration programs and trash is a major no-no.
The shell cleaning takes place Sunday, May 31 from 10:00 am - Noon in Weems. Learn more and register. Volunteers of all ages (but probably not super young ones) are welcome. Volunteers under 16 require a gaurdian or group leader to be present.
