Northern Neck Brewing Company in Montross is brewing a Revolutionary Ale whose name is to be suggested by a member of the public. The ale, created to commemorate our 250th, is described as:
A revolutionary style beer stylized after the way George Washington's Continental troops and/or local families and farms would have made it in 1776. Specialty ingredients that tie this recipe to the revolutionary era are as follows: cherry wood smoked malted grain, molasses, Virginia juniper leaves, and European hops.
Name the ale soon. The contest ends May 20.
