Anti-hunger Food System on the NNK (PDF) is done!
Designed to inform policy wonks, electeds, appointeds, donors, and policy curious, the four-page explainer depicts and summarizes the commonly considered elements of the anti-hunger/food-insurity system: SNAP, WIC, food banks, food pantries, and meal programs. Of course, the illustration shown above represents the usual state of affairs.
My hope is that the parties and general public will use this information to create a better system for people until which time these resources are no longer needed.
