College students and recent grads: Apply for a summer internship with the extension service

The Lancaster and Northumberland offices of Virginia Cooperative Extension are currently accepting applications for a summer intern.  The position is open to current college Juniors and Seniors, as well as recent graduates.  This paid internship will include  programming in agriculture, 4-H youth development and family and consumer sciences.  This is a great opportunity for someone interested in education, health, or agriculture. Interns can work up to 400 hours at a rate of $15.20/hour. Rising college juniors or seniors and young people with a BA or BS in a discipline related to the mission of the Extension service are encouraged to apply to be an intern with the Lancaster or Northumberland offices of Virginia Cooperative Extension. Applications open March 14 and are filled on a rolling basis starting March 21.
