My fave is to stop making every post about your organization or business. Exploring other topics shows you live in the real world, demonstrates that other needs/problems/challenges/solutions exist. My advice? Do this more.

  • If you are located in Colonial Beach or Westmoreland County close to CB, promote the good news: Governor Youngkin announced late last year that the Town of Colonial Beach has been designated as an Advancing Virginia Main Street community. The nine organizations “will receive intensive services to help strengthen their downtowns, including market analysis, marketplace development, capacity building, design assistance, organization development, economic strategies, and façade renderings for redevelopment projects.”
