The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ (VDACS) Beehive Distribution Program is encouraging the public to apply for the 2024 Beehive Distribution Program lottery. The program “provides equipment directly to eligible individuals for the construction of new beehives” and VDACS registers winners as registered beekeepers.
September 6 is the deadline for applying.
