Food businesses: Add some text to social and make it easier for users to support you

Calling restuarants, markets, produce stands, food trucks: Hungry peeps would love some basic info in each and every post on social. Info such as the date of your post or the date of the event you are talking about, your address including town, your hours or the hours of the special or event, and menu staples (if a restaurant).

The why is important: When you list the date, readers don’t have to try to figure out when you made the post and to which day it applies. Making it easier to the public makes it much more likely members of the public will become customers.

In addition, sharing key information in text versus in an image makes it useful for those who want to copy and paste content in, say, email or text. Forcing people to type your content reduces the chance they will actually do it and it reduces the likelihood that they will support your business.
