Affordable drinking water testing on the NNK; hurry, limited test kits available

Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond, and Westmoreland County residents may get their well (well, spring, cistern) water tested for contaminants Saturday, October 11 through the Virginia Tech Virginia Household Water Quality Program. Testing “includes analysis for 14 chemical and bacteriological constituents” such as health-impacting contaminants lead and E. coli. The test results are confidential.
