TRIAD of Lancaster and Northumberland Counties is talking fraud and scams Thursday, February 16 at 10:00 am at Lancaster Community Library (16 Town Centre Dr, Kilmarnock).
There are a number of scams and other frauds currently popular among bad actors and they are directing their attention to older and vulnerable folks on the Northern Neck. TRIAD of Lancaster and Northumberland Counties has invited speakers from law enforcement and the banking industry to discuss these scams and ways people can detect them and avoid becoming a victim. The event is appropriate for care givers, family members, and older/vulnerable people.
