The Virginia Institute of Marine Science’s February 23rd After Hours Lecture Advisory Service: Applying Marine Science to Regulatory Realities features Emily Hein, Assistant Director for Advisory Services. She will discuss the ways VIMS’s science-based recommendations are used by regulators to inform decisions on a wide range of projects, from backyard erosion on tidal creeks to a response to an oil spill.
