• The Colonial Beach School District org chart was updated January 2023.
• The Town of Colonial Beach is developing its first ever master plan for parks and rec. According to the press release, “The Master Plan will look at the existing parks, recreational facilities, programs, and services, and determine the current and future level of services for the community based on public input. The plan will prioritize the needs and desires for upgrading and improving parks, recreational facilities, amenities, programs, and services.” There are several ways to participate in the development of the plan: Survey for Parks and Recreation Master Plan, Community Workshop on Monday, January 23 (6:00-8:00 pm) at Colonial Beach Elementary School gym; and public meeting Wednesday, January 25 (6:00-8:00 pm) at Colonial Beach Elementary School gym to provide information gathered from the workshop and focus groups.
