Testing identifies health-impacting contaminants such as lead and E. coli as well as nuisance contaminants. The results are confidential.
Virginia Tech is offering a limited number of test kits and pre-registration by September 30 is required in both counties. Tests are $65, $20 for those meeting income eligibility criteria. To register, call (804) 462-5780 in Lancaster and (804) 580-5694 in Northumberland.
