NNSWCD is also conferring with farmers/owners of agricutural land about Virginia’s Agricultural BMP CostShare (VACS) program. VACS, administered locally by NNSWCD, offers more than 70 conservation practices that cover the full spectrum of agricultural operations. Whether you grow crops, raise livestock or produce poultry, there are BMPs that can benefit each and every farmer/agricultural land owner. The 2022/2023 program year begins July 1 and demand for assistance can be great, so the org encourages timely applications.
