Several changes from the proposed budget:
- The Northumberland County Public Schools previously approved budget of $17,351,915 was amended in the final budget. The FY 2018 budget for NCPS is $17,848,096.
- The Sheriff's Office approved budget is $2,508,293. This represents an increase over the approved FY 2017 budget, but approximately $70,000 less than the office requested.
- Ambulance/Rescue received an increase in FY 2018. The approved budget is $1,132,974.
- The Northern Neck Free Health Clinic was level-funded at $71,095 in FY 2018.
- The YMCA was level-funded at $50,000 in FY 2018. They had requested $100,000.
