211 Virginia
211 Virginia is a “free, confidential service available 24/7, 365 days a year, connecting people with information on available housing, food, healthcare, and other community resources throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.” Get help via phone, chat, text, email, and online search.
Unfortunately, the majority of nonprofits and other social service organizations on the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula are not listed in 211. For them to be, each organization needs to add itself. It is not hard, but it does take time. To add your organization, click on the tab “Add/Update Agency” and go from there. Help, guidance, and more are available in the “Agency Resources” tab.
